Editions of the "Canberra Times" from 1926 to 1954 are available online through the National Library of Australia digitised newspapers website (http://trove.nla.gov.au/newspaper). The paper is also available in hard copy and/or microfilm in numerous libraries, as well as online through library databases. 

Some older photos from the "Canberra Times" are held by the National Library of Australia or the ACT Heritage Library. A selection of photos published since 2006 can be viewed online at the paper?s website (http://www.canberratimes.com.au/multimedia). The Canberra & District Historical Society also holds a sound recording from 1976 detailing the history of the Canberra Times and its proprietors, the Shakespeare family, from the perspective of founder Arthur Shakespeare's wife Helen. See http://www.canberrahistory.org.au for details.
